Google Real Time Search is here!  Want to find out whats happening right now?  This very instant?  Check out this video on Google ’s new real time search and how it pulls in live updates from Facebook, Twitter, blogs, various news sites and more!

Basically when you enter any search into Google you will get the normal web results you have always gotten as well as the option to see what is being said about that search term by people right that very second on blogs, Twitter, Facebook and all kinds of other social media and networking sites.

Wanna know the score of the big game?  Wanna know what people are saying about the latest movie or even if there is a traffic jam on Route 270?  Well these real time results may be the answer.

See the video to get a better understanding of how this can be an awesome tool.  Google says the feature should be available to us in just a few days!  In order to use it yourself go to http://Google.com and after entering in a search click on “Latest Results” You can even filter the results to see the info from only the Social Media sites you’d like.  Be selective and choose from Twitter, Facebook and many more or see them all, scrolling, live,  right on your Google search page!

  1. Yeah, I heard about Google’s real time search thing. I don’t know how useful indexing twitter tweets on the web will really be though.
