The fact that we are getting alot of snow is no surprise here in Mt. Airy, Maryland. They have been talking about it on the weather all week! Still, it has been a LONG time since we have seen this much snow here, and it is STILL coming down like crazy. At 9AM this morning we have at least 2 feet of snow. This is just an awesomely beautiful thing to look at but it can also be a very dangerous thing as well. This is the classic
“Nor’ Easter” as they call it around here! I just shot a little bit of video of my kids and my Labrador Retriever so you can get a feel for how deep the snow is here! I just pray that our power stays on and all will be good! Might be a few days before everybody get plowed out around here! Well, I guess I will just enjoy the fireplace, and my family! I’m not who I was! I was selfish, prideful, scared, sad, angry, condemned, motivated by the wrong things, broken and alone.
Even though I still struggle with all of these things as a human - I’M NOT WHO I WAS!! I thank God for that every day. I live in this world of trials, temptations, worries and I certainly have plenty of problems. The trouble of this world hasn’t gone away- but I am now able to handle things in a completely different way!
In spite of all of the troubles I face I now have more JOY in my life than ever before! Thanks to my new best friend, my life has changed for the better! Check out this video by Brandon Heath to see if you can relate!
Jesus is my Lord and my Savior! He can do this for you too! Do you want to be who you are or who God truly created you to be? He can and will change you from the inside out! All you need to do is invite Him in to do it!

Google Real Time Search is here! Want to find out whats happening right now? This very instant? Check out this video on Google ’s new real time search and how it pulls in live updates from Facebook, Twitter, blogs, various news sites and more!
Basically when you enter any search into Google you will get the normal web results you have always gotten as well as the option to see what is being said about that search term by people right that very second on blogs, Twitter, Facebook and all kinds of other social media and networking sites.
Wanna know the score of the big game? Wanna know what people are saying about the latest movie or even if there is a traffic jam on Route 270? Well these real time results may be the answer.

In order to use it yourself go to http://Google.com and after entering in a search click on “Latest Results” You can even filter the results to see the info from only the Social Media sites you’d like. Be selective and choose from Twitter, Facebook and many more or see them all, scrolling, live, right on your Google search page!

Social Media is taking the world by storm. I met a guy the other day at a business networking event who told me that Facebook and Twitter are just for kids and he wasn’t going to waste his time with them! Generally I try not to judge people, but the first thing I said was, “You’re an Idiot!”. Of course I only said that to my self but I am sure it was written all over my face, as hard as I was trying not to let my initial thoughts about his intelligence be known!
How is it that so many people think it is just a fad when the facts reveal that social media is here to stay. In hindsight I have to give this guy the benefit of the doubt because he may not have seen the statistics in the video below. So to the man who’s name will remain anonymous, I am sorry for snapping to a judgment about you. The funny thing is he spent the next 10 minutes complaining about how his normal means of (offline) advertising just weren’t working as well anymore and he didn’t know what to do about it?!?!?
The fact seems pretty clear to me, and many others, that most eyes are going online! Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, LinkedIn, My Space, and hundreds of other social media sites have exploded in the last couple of years with just this past years growth almost mind boggling. Social Media has reached the “Tipping Point” and the statistics are staggering as to who is using this new means of communication and information gathering! Wake up business owners… social media is no longer just for kids!

How often have you thought that it would be awesome to share files between all of your computers. Accessing your critical data from your laptop, home computer and office computer? Or maybe you have a team of people and you would like to share files with each other quickly and easily even though you may not all be working in the same place at the same time! There is a way and it is easy, quick and FREE! It is called Gmail Drive and you can currently store up to 7 GB (ALOT) of data!
Let us know, in the comments below, if this is a good solution for you and or if there are any other creative ways you plan on using this great feature!
Step 1. Create a new free gmail account that will be used only for storage. You probably want to create a seperate account even if you already have a gmail account because when your sharing files you won’t necessarily want everyone your sharing files with to see all of your emails.
Step 2. Download the Gmail Drive zip file from http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm and then open it and then click the setup.exe file to install it. You will know it worked if you go to My Computer and see a system folder called “Gmail Drive”
Step 3. While there double click the “Gmail Drive” folder and enter the username and password for the account you created in Step 1. Check the “Auto Login” box if you want your Gmail Drive to be available automatically in the future. Click the OK button to login and show the contents of your Gmail Drive.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 on any computer where you need to access your shared files- or give the information in step 2 and 3 to team members or friends who you want to share files with.
To put files into your “Gmail Drive” just drag and drop or copy and paste just like you would do with any other drive.
